Fish oil
The Virginia Prime line of fish oil is used in livestock, companion animal and aquaculture feed as a sustainable source of omega-3 fatty acids providing a number of health and performance benefits. These essential nutrients improve immune response and reproductive function, and reduce inflammation to improve overall health and performance.
Fishmeal
We manufacture three types of fishmeal: FAQ, Special Select® and SeaLac® for the nutritional needs of all animal species.
Fishmeal provides the most complete amino acid profile of any single protein source. Omega Protein produces species-specific specialty fishmeal formulated to meet the nutritional requirements each species of animal needs for protein. Each of our specialty fishmeal provides a minimum of 62 percent crude protein and over 90 percent digestibility. Made from fresh whole fish, our fishmeal improves feed conversion, reproductive performance, immune function and overall growth.
Liquid fish concentrate
We also manufacture Neptune™ aqua grade liquid protein. When added to aquaculture feed, it acts as a powerful attractant and improves palatability, which improves feed intake and conversion, prolongs plankton life cycles and increases beneficial bacteria.
